Online Accelerated Learning Best Practices Subcommittee goes WIKI!

The CAP Best Practices Subcommittee has been committed to focusing on the development of a data bank of materials that help establish or advance accelerated learning. The Wiki format will allow for sharing of ideas, and examples that will contribute to best practices in assessment, orientation, student populations, and adjunct faculty as well as other topics that will help define best practices for the academy. The committee will direct the dialogue in the form of questions such as "what barriers still exist in accelerated learning?" and "what are some of the best practices in teaching diverse learners?" We hope you will join us in the coming months to build an important document that will determine criteria that establish best practices in these arenas, with the first element being "Part-Time Faculty Handbook: Guide for Orientation, Development and Practical Application for Teaching in an Accelerated Environment."

The Best Practice Subcommittee Members are:
Patricia Ellis, Villa Julie College
Cathleen Greiner, Booz Allen Hamilton (Chair)
Margie Hartman, New Ventures of Regis University
Yael Hellman, Woodbury University
Kalpana Muetz, Regis University
Halin Tavano, Medaille College
